About ICACT

With technically co-sponsored by IEEE ComSoc(Communications Society), IEEE ComSoc CISTC(Communications & Information Security Technical Community), and IEEE ComSoc ONTC(Optical Networking Technical Community), the ICACT(International Conference on Advanced Communications Technology) Conference has been providing an open forum for scholars, researchers, and engineers to the extensive exchange of information on newly emerging technologies, standards, services, and applications in the area of the advanced communications technology. The conference official language is English. All the presented papers have been published in the Conference Proceedings, and posted on the ICACT Website and IEEE Xplore Digital Library since 2004. The honorable ICACT Out-Standing Paper Award list has been posted on the IEEE Xplore Digital Library also, and all the Out-Standing papers are subjected to the invited paper of the "ICACT Transactions on the Advanced Communications Technology" Journal issued by GiRI(Global IT Research Institute) accredited by Korea Government(Reg. No. 220-82-07506) hosting the ICACT Conference . All the papers will be indexed and abstracted by several global academic societies such as SCOPUS, INSPEC, Engineering Index (EI), Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), etc.

ICACT2012 TPC finally selected 257 papers from 597 paper submissions by 220 reviewers under single blinded review policy, and presented in the technical sessions. The conference consisted of 40 technical sessions including 5 Poster Sessions, 3 Tutorial, and 2 keynote Speeches. All the presented papers have been registered in IEEE eXplore DB(March 2012) for further citation as the technically co-sponsored by the IEEE, and IEEE ComSoc with the endosements of IEEE ComSec CIS-TC(Communications & Information Security Technical Committee) and IEEE ComSoc ON-TC(Optical Networking Technical Committee)

ICACT2011 TPC finally selected 317 papers of 34 countries to be presented in the technical sessions from total 739 papers received. The accepted papers were examined by 242 expert reviewers.
