First of all, thank you for the good research paper and presentation contents. I would like to know more about the research environment used in this study, and also in detail about the equipment & operating systems, development languages and software libraries you used. Thank you very much for your question. This is a review-type paper, so it does not cover research environments, development languages, and software libraries. However, in the investigation, we can find that most of the excellent articles on UAV network coverage use the Windows environment, C++ language, and network simulation platforms such as NS2.

I think this is a very interesting survey study. I have one question. Is there any reason why energy efficiency is not considered in multi-tiers coverage schemes? Thanks for your question. When investigating the coverage problem of multi-layer UAV networks, our focus is on the coverage probability of the uplink/downlink. Energy efficiency is rarely mentioned in these articles, but it is certain that the more factors and algorithms they consider when designing their coverage scheme, the higher the power consumption of the drone. Therefore, when designing the solution, we prefer distributed algorithms and high-level UAVs (UAVs with more flight capabilities) to take on the computing tasks.

Thank you for your presentation. I would like to know whether interference from other types of networks has an effect on the coverage of the UAV network. Happy to answer your questions. Interference from other types of networks does affect the coverage of UAV networks. Therefore, when considering the coverage probability, the path loss and other noise interference are written into the calculation formula. The most common factors are signal-to-noise ratio (SINR), line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) and so on.
