| What role does the Membership function play in the proposed strategy, and why is the Gaussian method chosen for this research? |
The membership function used in the proposed strategy defines how each point in the input space is mapped to a membership value and it returns a value in between 0 and 1. This research uses the Gaussian approach since it is simpler, faster, and optimized for smaller rulebases.

| How scalable is the proposed approach to handle diverse database workloads, especially in scenarios with varying data sizes and complexities? |
As the experimental setup was consisting of different machines who were generating the workloads therefore, we created agent replica for each workload for its efficient workload management. |

| What novel approach is introduced for database workload management, and how does it differ from existing philosophies and thoughts in the field? |
We have identified the key Workload Parameters that are helpful to characterize the workload that may be either OLTP or DSS. Our approach is different from previous approaches as we have calculated the exact OLTP and DSS percentage of each workload type by using the Fuzzy logic. Moreover, we have also detected the idleness period in which we can execute system processes like backup and recovery. |
