Great job! What is your motivation? Hello, thank you for the compliment. Our motivation was to combine several different public data sets, to perform robust analysis as well as present the results in a non-biased fashion. The motivation was to allow the user of the website to dive through the data via various visualizations, and come up with their own interpretation of it. The hydrocarbon production is important for the modern civilization; so the impact on socio-economics is of great interest to the public, as well as the governments.

Do you think that the paper's research topic has relevance to the conference? Thank you for your question. We considered several conferences, and settled on IEEE/ICACT due to its prestige as well as relevance to certain sessions such as "Web Service and Future Web". As a communications focused conference, sessions such as this help to provide tremendous value to the general public. Our project aimed to provide interactive visualizations to all the stakeholders including the government, and the public to consider the value/impact of hydrocarbon production on the socio-economics.
