WHY USED PSEUDOCODE TO REPRESENT THE CODING AND NOT OTHER PROGRAMMING LANGGUAGE THE AUTHOR CHOOSE PSEUDOCODE IS FOR THE EASE OF USE FOR OTHER DEVELOPER TO ADOPT IT TO THEIR OWN IOT SENSOR NODE.

When you said "switch different wireless network" in the mentioned pseudocode, do you mean "switch to different access point" in your topology? But I am confused whether the IP of sensor node changes. If not, it means the DoS attack isn't prevented. Am I right? If this, is the algorithm still valid? Yes, switch different wireless networks refer to switch to different access point. The purpose of this algorithm is to prevent the sensor node from the DoS attacks. The IP address of the access point will be changed and the sensor node will route to a different IP address. The nodes have been program to route using different IP address when the energy drop drastically.

Referring to slide 12: why did the life span for sensor nodes 3, 4, and 5 not improve appreciably when using LIDSA? Thanks! great work. Sensor Node 1 was configured as the DoS victim. The impact of the attack causes Sensor Node 1 to be defective. The other sensors are also affected because they are connected to the same network. Even though the other nodes are not victims, but since they are connected to the same wireless network, they still affected by the attack. However, the impact on their lifespan are less than the victim (sensor node 1)
