What is the VANET? IEEE 802.11 VANET is a standard approved by IEEE? Then, what is the standard number assigned by IEEE? What is the VANET? - As I mentioned in the slides, VANET stands for Vehicular Ad-hoc Network, a type of wireless network that allows vehicles to communicate with each other and with roadside infrastructure. VANETs are designed to provide real-time information to drivers and other road users, such as traffic updates, road conditions, and potential hazards. IEEE 802.11 VANET is a standard approved by IEEE? Then, what is the standard number assigned by IEEE? - Yes. IEEE has developed a standard for VANETs, called IEEE 802.11p. In addition, IEEE has proposed a more advanced 802.11 bd standard to replace the IEEE 802.11p standard.

Can your proposed idea be applied without violation of the standard IEEE 802.11 VANET? Great question. Our research aims to create an optimized system to help VANET security applications better comply with and leverage the IEEE communication standard. Our experiments' parameters are derived from the IEEE 802.11 standard. Notably, this optimization system can also be used for any problem requiring real-time optimization with constraints. So, to answer your question, there is no violation.

What about the performance results? Have you checked its computational requirment? Is there any similar method to compare? We use the Slow vehicle warming application as the test standard in our experiments, achieving a time delay of less than 0.01s and a 99.9% package reception probability. We compare this optimization method with the conventional grid search. According to the results, the Bayesian approach achieves a speedup of nearly seven times. We used a neural network approach to optimize the VANET network in a previous study. However, the method could not perform the optimization search for continuous variables and did not incorporate constraints. So we propose in this paper to use the constrained Bayesian approach to optimize the parameters.

What else can you optimize about your method? Is there a comparative experiment in the paper We may consider introducing some algorithms to adjust the size of the initial sample set dynamically. Yes, we compared it with grid search in our experiments.
