Regarding to the results, using the new technique is more detailed distortion than the original surface. When the new technique is not applied, the surface is decomposed into very clear. Any measurement standatds for confirming the performance and quality? The quality after using new technique can be measured: in the skin zone we applied the tris (3D model construced by rectangle tris) increases from 74 to 194. The tris new technique adds to the 3D model is 128 (it delete 8 tris in old model then add 128 tris)

The article proposes a technique to increase the detail of the shape change of the skin under pressure by using the theory of deformation of Mindlin and Reissner plates combined with the finite element method for observing changes in the time of subcutaneous capillary filling (CRT) to assess the patient's health in terms of blood pressure, heart rate, etc. Is it possible to depict a concept framework for performing the applications based on your proposed methods? Sure. We can build it to become a library (*.lib) then apply to any surface of the 3D objects. We hope that our reseach can become a part of industrial 3D programs.

Thank you for your informative papers. Is there any part that is applied in the actual medical industry in relation to the proposed technology in the paper? This technique have been used in the simulations appling in the medical training and teaching procedure at hospitals and others medical palace. We create a virtual room for abulance, trainers play the role of doctors and nurses, they have to survive the patients.

Hello. Thank you for presenting such an interesting research. It is not really my area of research so I found it really fascinating. My question is that can your work be applied to virtual reality applications and even to improve video games than just using it for medical applications? Yes, it can be applied to any VR applications and video games. In generals, it can be use to resolve collision problems between solid object and deformal surface object.

First of all, thank you for the good research paper and presentation contents. I would like to know more about the research environment used in this study, and also in detail about the equipment & operating systems, development languages and software libraries you used. This research is built in game engine: Unity3D/C# and I used the library Math.Net Numerics to do matrix calculations. I only use my PC in this research and here is my PC info: - Window 10 - Ram 16GB - GPU NDIVIA GeForce GTX 750Ti - CPU Intel Xeon E5-2630 v2 @ 2.6GHz

Thanks for your research, I feel interested in it. I think the elasticity of the skin and muscle density can affect the body's power resistance. How do you identify the relevance of these parameters? Thanks for the good question. You known that the human skin is so complex and simulate it also be hard too. In our research we have to consider the human skin both the skin and other related factors to one parameter: element's fexural stiffness. We belive that will more effective than break it in to many layers of the skin. The fact that most of the 3D modelers now only creat the shell of the 3D model, inside the model only has the skeleton of the model. The relevance of layers of human skin and muscle could be measure in an independent research.

Thanks for your presentation. Your research topic is really interesting and I am wondering about the future plan about this technique. Hope to hear your opinion. We've applied it to our National project to creat a virtual reality systems for training medical students and doctor in children emergency. Our project's started since 2019 and we've trained for 5 places in 4 cities. We hope that it can become an industrial production and scale up in world.

Dear Author, you have a very good research. Is there an existing technology almost similar to your proposal that has been deployed in real world environment? What does it lack that your work specifically addressed? Thank you and stay safe. Thanks. In other 3D scupting programes such as Zbrush, they also increase the polygons of the model to make it more easy to deformate. But when the polygon is increased, the proceed not only happens at the area the scupt force applied so the total polygon of whole model is increased. You can easily see that an scupted 3D model often have 1mil tris or above. Of course our technique still has many problems to resolve in the future. The skin of human is very complex such as described in question no.6, i think that our team will have many thing to do. We just only resolved a small problem in skin simulation problem.

Can you tell us which environment did you use for this research? Thanks your answer in advance. This research is built in game engine: Unity3D/C# and I used the library Math.Net Numerics to do matrix calculations. I only use my PC in this research and here is my PC info: - Window 10 - Ram 16GB - GPU NDIVIA GeForce GTX 750Ti - CPU Intel Xeon E5-2630 v2 @ 2.6GHz. The deploy enviroment can be flexiable: Windows OS, Mac OS, Mobile OS. We've already build our project to app and run it in PC/Mobile.
