I enjoyed following this very interesting research and associated simulation results. The two simulation results compared to VDS data for both Daejeon direction and Sejong direction, the error levels were relatively large in the middle of measurement and at the end of measurement. Would you tell me why these two time periods show relatively large error? Are these time for "going to work" and "going home after work"? That’s a great question. Because cities are interconnected, there are people who simply move without stayng in the city. As a future work, we will simulate the movement of people passing by without staying. Thank you.

Great work. How was data obtained for conducting this study, such as mobile phone statistical data, bus movement data, and city infrastructure data? Please provide websites for the sources of data, if possible. Thanks! I appreciate your question and am happy to answer it. Recently, lots of public data has been opened to the public, and provided on Internet sites in Korea such as https://data.go.kr, https://data.kostat.go.kr, https://www.sejong.go.kr Since mobile phone data is owned by telco, it is not open to the public and was purchased for research. Thank you.

Great! Would you please indicate the most valuable applications of your study? Why? How? That’s a great question. This study can be used in a policy-making system to predict city change and population movement before public officials make policy decision of urban planning. Thank you for asking.

Hi, My name is Charnon Poolsin from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Your research is very interesting. I would like to ask you one question. What tools were used in this research for virtual city simulation platform development? I'm glad you asked. In this study, we use the RepastHPC simulator which is an open source agent-based modeling system for large distributed computing platforms. Thank you.

What type of mobile phone data is used for analysis? I appreciate your question. In this paper, we use mobile phone data which is generated by analyzing LTE signal from base station of the carrier. Moble phone data includes the results of counting people's movement patterns among administrative districts on every hour. Thank you.

It depends on the capabilities of the computer, but how long does the simulation take depending on the population? Thank you for asking. As you sait it, it depends on computer's capability, but it usually takes about 10 ~ 30 minutes to simulate a day. Thanks.

Digital twin seems to be an attractive topic. What are the main differences between digital twins and existing BIM and Vitual City? Also What are the main advantages of Digital Twin? That's a great question. Virtual city and BIM technologies have similarities in terms of information models in the ditital space, but they are data model constituting a smart city and a visualization tool in the field of computer graphics. Digital twin is different from BIM and virtual city in that it has simulation platform and has interoperability between physical and digital models. Thank you.

Thanks for great presentation. My name is Jong-Young Choi. In the paper, population fluctuations are predicted through transportation. Then I wonder why the subway, which is the main transportation method for office workers, was not considered. What do you think about that??? Thanks Thank you for asking. In this paper, we created Sejong City as a virtual city, and there is no subway in Sejong City yet. If a subway is built in the future, we will implement a subway as a transportation. Thanks.
