Thank you very much for your work, I have a small question to ask you, can your solution be applied to the actual environment now? Thank you for your question. The quasiperiodic structures are simulated using the FDTD method. We have sent our designs for Fabrication. Once the designs are ready we will apply our structures in the real environment using the proposed method given in the paper.

First of all, thank you for the good research paper and presentation contents. I would like to know more about the research environment used in this study, and also in detail about the equipment & operating systems, development languages and software libraries you used. Thank you for your question. We have implemented our structures using the FDTD method in Lumerical software. We used the scripting language provided by the Lumerical.

Will you tell us what is the major achievement of this paper, and also what is further study issue from this? Thanks in advance!! Thank you for your question. Using the quasiperiodic structures we have seen that there are multiple narrow reflected bands in the reflection spectrum. This indicates that we can reduce the number of cascaded filters for multi-channel multiplexing/demultiplexing operations. In the future, various optimization techniques can be used to optimize the quasiperiodic structures to obtain the filtering characteristics for the desired wavelength.

Is there already an existing optimized version of this multilayer technology that has been deployed in real world environment? What weakness or weaknesses do you see? Thank you and stay safe. To my knowledge, I haven't seen any existing optimized version of this multilayer technology for optical filtering.

Which do you think is the best multi-layer photonic configurations for light filtering in optical communications? Thanks again. As you can see from the reflection spectrum of the quasiperiodic structures, Fibonacci and Rudin-Shapiro have the best potential optical light filtering.
