Can you give example the practical implication of your research? Thank you for your question. One of the practical examples is that there are more than two different systems for open data management and each system needs to collect the metadata and data from other systems.

First of all, thank you for the good research paper and presentation contents. I would like to know more about the research environment used in this study, and also in detail about the equipment & operating systems, development languages and software libraries you used. Thank you for your question. We implemented our system using nodejs in Ubuntu OS. The main software libraries included PostgreSQL and Kafka.

Will you tell us what is the major achievement of this paper, and also what is further study issue from this? Thanks in advance!! Thank you for your question. The major achievement of our paper is that we presented a flexible system with standard mechanisms for managing the harvesting process effectively. The further study issue we would like to focus on is the state controlling problem, especially in the object collecting stage.

Dear Author, you have a very good research. I would like to know if the technology today is capable of implementing your proposed scheme? Is there an existing technology almost similar to your proposal that has been deployed in real world environment? Thank you and stay safe. Thank you for your question. We already implemented our proposed approach and applied it in the real-world use case. Actually, there are a few existing technologies similar to our proposal such as CKAN Harvester system.

Dear author, you have done a good research. What are the advantages of your system over other systems? What are the current shortcomings? What will future research focus on? What problems does your solution solve in the actual environment? Thank you for your question. In our experiments, our system actually has a better performance compared with the other solutions. However, one of the current shortcomings of our approach which we would like to improve in the future is the state controlling problem, especially in the object collecting stage.

Dear author, very interesting research. I would like to know how you store harvested metadata on your platform? are you using some structured, nosql, graph databases or other technology platform? Thank you for your question. We stored the harvested metadata in Postgresql database. We plan to use other technologies such as neo4j or clickhouse in the future.
