| Good Day, Do you think is there any possible challenges while sharing the content through a metaverse environment or models that may have any risk related to content while using a metaverse environment? |
Thank you for your comment. In the aspect of content, I think there can be copyright and interoperability issues. The copyright issues can be handled in a traditional way or by new methods like NFT, blockchain, etc. In the case of interoperability of contents, several SDOs, such as MSF(Metaverse standards forum), OMF(Open metaverse foundation), and OMI(Open Metaverse Interoperability), are making a standard for the format of the assets to be operable. The most famous ones are USD(Universal Scene Descriptions) and glTF. In addition to the format of 3D assets, it is not easy to respect the attribute and effect of a specific item of a specific metaverse platform. If there are no appropriate conversion processes, it may lead to the collapse of the balance of the metaverse ecosystem.
Thanks.

| Dear Author,
Could you please explain how the role of Blockchain is envisaged in Metaverse domain?
Thank you |
Thank you for your interest.
This is the second wave of the metaverse. This second wave comes from the fever of the XR/VR/AR advance and the digital assets derived from cryptocurrency. Some UCC(user-created content) can be published as an NFT, and it can be traded. It also needs to be noted that the metaverse will maintain its ecosystem using its own digital currency or coins based on blockchain. Distributed standalone metaverses will probably share their virtual world economy with the blockchains.
Thanks. |

| First of all, I watched the paper presentation well and it was very helpful in understanding the Interoperabliity of the metaverse.
I was impressed with the fact that the digital twin of the vertical interoperability of the metaverse can be applied.
Please briefly explain if there is an example of applying the digital twin and meta bus together in a smart factory in Korea.
Thank you.

Thank you for your interest and comment.
As far as I know, the purpose of digital twin between CPS and metaverse is slightly different. Of course, they pursue similar objectives but approach the goal from a different angle.
The digital twin in CPS is a specialized field that achieves optimization in the real world through simulation in the virtual world. The digital twin in the metaverse has a vital aspect of synchronizing real-world information and virtual-world information, such as IoT.
However, when it comes to digital twins and metaverses in smart factories, a prime example is the logistics system. A metaverse built with NVIDIA's Omnibus platform and artificial intelligence was used to deliver parcels at the optimal warehouse. In Korea, we know that it has been or is being applied to warehouses such as Coupang, but we are unsure about this. In addition, there is a case of demonstrating a service that allows an avatar to purchase items in a 7-Eleven convenience store in the virtual world and have them delivered at CES2023.
Finally, I think the world where the imaginary and real world coexists will become a metaverse.
Thanks.
