First of all, I watched the paper presentation well, and it was very helpful to get to know IEC61850 and DC Nanogrid well. As far as I know, messages used in IEC61850 include not only mms but also GOOSE and SV. I would like to ask if that part was also tested in the test bed of this thesis or not. Thank you for your question. In IEC 61850 standards, there are several message protocol such as MMS, GOOSE, R-GOOSE, R-SV, etc., as you asked, but not all of them are tested in this paper. The reason is that GOOSE is mainly used in time-critical situations and SV is widely used for CT and PT measurements, and the data used in the paper were solar power generation, battery charge, etc., so it was not necessary to test separately.

As I understand that IEC 61850 is a substation data model, how can I ensure interoperability in DC nanogrid? Although the IEC 61850 standard is about substations, it is not limited to simply substations as it has recently expanded to EVs, DERs, etc. DC nanogrid also includes EV charging and DER, which must be integrated with existing power grids in the future and therefore the data model of IEC 61850 must be used for interoperability.
