| How does the implementation of split carriers in the uplink path specifically enhance the performance of 5G NSA networks compared to traditional single-connection approaches? |
The route test in the evaluation section shows the effectiveness of integration of uplink split function. Overall throughput is increased since User Equipment now can use the radio resource from both 4G and 5G station.
Furthermore the better signal quality from 4G station provide a better service quality as the data uplink now can be transmit in a more durable connection. |

| What are the main challenges in maintaining service quality during mobility scenarios when a user equipment moves from one base station to another while using an uplink sharing medium? |
The main challenges is to maintain the uplink data path with no disruption or delay for Users.
It is done by maintain the context about the uplink and forward the packet in queue from two station. |

| Your study proposes an uplink split bearer mechanism based on channel quality monitoring using AVG_WB_SINR and DTX. Have you considered integrating machine learning models, as some prior studies have done, to further optimize the uplink path switching? If not, what were the main reasons for favoring a simpler rule-based approach? |
The main reason leads to a simple approach is that the complexity in algorithm significantly increase the overall performance of the system, considering that there are many other algorithm integrated into the system ( scheduler, optimizer,...) |
