5G networks require ultra-low latency and high reliability to support advanced applications. However, mobility management becomes more complex in these dense 5G deployments with frequent handovers.
This sets the stage for why analyzing abnormal behavior is critical - to ensure 5G performance is not degraded by issues like excessive ping-pongs between cells. Our research aims to tackle this challenge head-on through intelligent analytics in the NWDAF.
