Greco presented dominance based rough set theory in 2001. The main change compared to the classical rough set theory is the substitution for the indiscernibility relation by a dominance relation, which permits one to deal with inconsistencies typical to consideration of criteria and preference-ordered decision classes. As dominance based rough set theory considered the priority order of criteria/attributes, it has been predominantly used for multicriteria classification problems. | |
