Fog computing is a decentralized computing infrastructure where data and processing are distributed between the cloud and edge devices closer to the edge layer to improve efficiency and reduce latency. Fog architecture provides low latency, low bandwidth usage, energy-efficient solutions for real-time problems, and supports user mobility.
