The second one is passive gateway discovery, when a mobile node has an Internet demand and there is no default route to the gateway in its routing table, the mobile node initiates the gateway discovery process by broadcasting gateway request to the multicast address of the gateway, and the intermediate node forwards the received gateway request information. | |
