First, we describe the transmission path loss model, where the absorption coefficient in dB per kilometer is calculated using the Thorp equation. Next, we introduce the packet transmission probability model. We first compute the signal-to-noise ratio in linear scale, and then derive the average bit error rate and the packet success rate. By calculating the packet success rate between every pair of nodes, we finally obtain the success probability matrix. | |
