	Algorithm 1 is for topology monitoring. Its purpose is proactive fault detection through periodic topology polling. The key operations are as follows: First, it continuously polls the network topology through the RESTCONF API at regular intervals delta-t. Second, it compares consecutive topology snapshots - T-previous versus T-current. Third, it computes the set difference to efficiently detect missing nodes. This approach imposes minimal controller overhead while providing effective fault detection.
