We configure the interconnection test environment as below figure.
The proposed Disaster Warning and Alerting Integrated System is at Seoul and local warning and alerting systems are installed in Cheongju, southeast of Seoul.
The proposed system and interworking gateway located in Cheongju are connected via the Internet, and messages are transmitted and received based on the CAP profile described before.
The main role of interworking gateway is to transmit/receive CAP profile with proposed Disaster Warning and Alerting Integrated System and convert the transmitted/received CAP profile message into a format that can be processed by the existing legacy Automatic voice notification systems, village broadcasting systems, and Bus Information System in order to interwork with existing systems. |
