	Before computing any detour, UW-LFRR performs topology purification. It defines a forbidden set that includes both the failed nodes and the blocked branch nodes in Ku, then removes them from the snapshot to form a local purified topology. This purified view ensures that the logical paths computed afterward are composed only of healthy, reachable nodes, so the repair will not point packets into dead ends.
