	Shumpeter¡¯s New Combinations emphasized the importance of ¡°new connections (new combinations)¡± between resources. This means that new discoveries and stimuli can be obtained from new connections, rather than from well-known and familiar connections. For example, the QR code was born from the new connections between the existing and well-known barcode and Go. While traditional barcodes differentiate patterns in one direction, QR codes use dot patterns, enabling about 200 times more data storage. Thus, new discoveries and stimuli can be obtained from new connection between resources.
