	Unlike prior work, our proposed approach directly addresses the duplicate-response problem in CoAPs Separate Response mode. It integrates adaptive RTT-based timing on the client side and selective retransmission suppression on the server side without altering CoAPs message format or introducing additional negotiation overhead. It enhances reliability, reduces latency, and improves energy efficiency in con¡©strained IoT environment while remaining fully compliant with IETF RFC 7252 and compatible with standard CoAP implementations.
