Now let us examine the throughput results, which demonstrate the real-world performance impact of GCCache.
The figure on the right shows the throughput of our RNIC under a single Queue Pair with varying message sizes.
First, our performance is comparable to commercial NICs. This validates that GCCache does not introduce any performance penalty.
Second, we achieve significantly better results compared to Xilinx ERNIC. The ERNIC struggles to reach high throughput even with large messages, while our design saturates the link much earlier.
Third, when the message size exceeds 1KB, our throughput approaches 100Gbps . This is directly enabled by the low latency of GCCache.
This result confirms that GCCache successfully eliminates the context caching bottleneck for high-speed RDMA operations.
