Our analysis revealed that the Decision Tree model yielded the most accurate results, with the lowest holdout root-mean-square error (RMSE) of 0.6881. Remarkably, this model outperformed the typically more complex and robust algorithms such as Random Forest and Gradient Boosting Machines, which had holdout RMSEs of 0.9332 and 0.9543, respectively. The simplicity of the Decision Tree model, coupled with its high level of interpretability, proved to be highly effective in this context. | |
