The mean queuing delay results for different computing devices are presented in the figure. The data shows that the edge device has a significantly higher mean queuing delay of 13.7 ms, compared to the other devices, which all exhibit mean queuing delays below 1 ms. This difference shows that the client device demonstrates substantial queuing delays due to its inherent network characteristics or load-handling capacity. In contrast, worker, broker, and cloud nodes demonstrate comparable and minimal queuing delays, indicating more efficient queuing processes. Worker and broker nodes show slightly better performance compared to the cloud node.
