Very nice presentation! If M=100 and N=10, do you have any suggestions to optimize the narrowness of the beamforming? Yes, several techniques can be used to optimize the narrowness of the beamforming in massive MIMO. Here are a few suggestions: 1. Increase the number of antennas in the system, as this can enable the signals received by the antennas to be combined in a way that narrows the beam and focuses it in a specific direction. 2. Use higher frequency bands for beamforming, as this results in a narrower beam. The smaller wavelength of higher frequencies allows for a more tightly focused signal. 3. Increase the coherence time of the channel so that the beam can be maintained narrow for a longer period. The coherence time is the duration during which the channel remains relatively constant. 4. Employ advanced signal processing techniques like compressive sensing and adaptive beamforming to optimize the narrowness of the beamforming. 5. Optimize the placement of the antennas in a configuration that enhances the directionality of the beamforming, which can improve the narrowness of the beam.
