What is the VANET? IEEE 802.11 VANET is a standard approved by IEEE? Then, what is the standard number assigned by IEEE? What is the VANET? - As I mentioned in the slides, VANET stands for Vehicular Ad-hoc Network, a type of wireless network that allows vehicles to communicate with each other and with roadside infrastructure. VANETs are designed to provide real-time information to drivers and other road users, such as traffic updates, road conditions, and potential hazards. IEEE 802.11 VANET is a standard approved by IEEE? Then, what is the standard number assigned by IEEE? - Yes. IEEE has developed a standard for VANETs, called IEEE 802.11p. In addition, IEEE has proposed a more advanced 802.11 bd standard to replace the IEEE 802.11p standard.
