How does the implementation of split carriers in the uplink path specifically enhance the performance of 5G NSA networks compared to traditional single-connection approaches? The route test in the evaluation section shows the effectiveness of integration of uplink split function. Overall throughput is increased since User Equipment now can use the radio resource from both 4G and 5G station. Furthermore the better signal quality from 4G station provide a better service quality as the data uplink now can be transmit in a more durable connection.
