The experiment uses UDP traffic injection to simulate load, yet real-world broadband traffic is predominantly TCP-based and highly bursty in nature. To what extent might the saturation threshold observed at 200–300 Mbps shift or disappear under mixed TCP/UDP traffic profiles, and how would that affect the validity of the derived logarithmic model for practical energy scheduling in integrated optical-wireless networks?
