The study validates the CPI framework using footage from only two historical disasters (Meron 2021 and Itaewon 2022), both of which occurred in relatively similar urban, high-density contexts. How would the models generalizability be evaluated in structurally different environments—such as open-field festivals or stadium exits—where crowd geometry, camera angles, and occlusion patterns differ substantially from the training cases?
