On Accessibility Limitations: The study reports that visually impaired participants achieved only a 56.2% accuracy rate, which, while better than the audio CAPTCHA baseline (48.18%), remains considerably lower than sighted users (65.45%). Given that the core purpose of the audio channel is to serve visually impaired users, what design modifications — beyond accent localization and background noise — could meaningfully close this accuracy gap without compromising security?
