Why do P2P networks experience from performance issues? Performance problems in P2P networks can be attributed to the fragmentation among peer groups due to the autonomous behavior of each peer, such as joining or leaving a peer group. Our proposed method can easily estimate the parameters necessary to design a nearly fragmentation-free network in P2P networks, and we consider that it will contribute to solving the performance problem.
