Thanks for your question. In the future, we plan to improve the algorithm and evaluate the quality of OAM multiplexing communication when IRSs are placed virtually in the city by using the ray-tracing method.
Currently, various telecommunication companies and university institutions are experimenting with the design of IRS for beyond5G, and network construction is still in the simulation stage.
Experiments combining OAM multiplexing and IRS have not yet been carried out. Therefore, to implement experiments, we need to design the signal processing software and UCA for OAM multiplexing, as well as the IRS.
Currently, we are implementing experiments of OAM multiplexing. In the future, we hope to implement the IRS and do measurements experiment in various environments.
