Dear author, you have a very interesting research. Could you please let me know more about the related work of this research? Thank you and stay safe. Thank you for the question. A. Niruntasukrat, C. Issariyapat, P. Pongpaibool, K. Meesublak, P. Aiumsupucgul and A. Panya, ``Authorization mechanism for MQTT-based Internet of Things,'' in Proceedings of 2016 IEEE International Conference on Communications Workshops (ICC), pp. 290-295, doi: 10.1109/ICCW.2016.7503802, 2016. This paper is one of the closely related studies to ours. This paper proposed an authorization mechanism for MQTT by considering the limited computational resources of IoT devices. The proposed mechanism is based on the OAuth 1.0a protocol and adopts several modifications to accommodate the restrictions of IoT devices. The authors tested the design on a real MQTT-based IoT service platform. They verified its successful operation with minimal authorization delay and message overhead without affecting the user experience. However, this mechanism only provides authorization services and does not support data encryption between the publisher and subscribers.
