Your study proposes an uplink split bearer mechanism based on channel quality monitoring using AVG_WB_SINR and DTX. Have you considered integrating machine learning models, as some prior studies have done, to further optimize the uplink path switching? If not, what were the main reasons for favoring a simpler rule-based approach? The main reason leads to a simple approach is that the complexity in algorithm significantly increase the overall performance of the system, considering that there are many other algorithm integrated into the system ( scheduler, optimizer,...)
